Andrea Lee was born on the 15th of August, 1998 in Los Angeles. James started teaching her daughter how to play golf at the age of five. The first tournament she played was at the age of 8 and has won 50 junior championships within a span of four year. She was a finalist in her finals at the US Women's Open 2014 at Pinehurst No. at the age of 15 and her father alongside her as caddie.
